Liu also revealed that 20 files of Pakatan Rakyat state assemblymen were taken from the land office by MACC, and that so far only the file on Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim’ cow-head case has been cleared.
“I am concerned that Wong’s case is just the first and not the last.”
Wong, who was accused of committing criminal breach of trust, was also charged with graft in the Shah Alam Court today, along with Yahya Saari, a former aide to the Selangor Mentri Besar, and Sabak Bernam Umno MP Datuk Abdul Rahman Bakri.
The first charge involves Wong’s alleged abuse of allocation for an event in Sg. Pelek worth RM5,000 and the second for producing a false invoice for the supply of car flags worth RM 2,500.
The trial was set from March 29 to April 9 next year. Nine witnesses will be called to testify.
